Community Helper

Officer Grigsby came to our class to talk to us about being a police officer. He also discussed the importance of being in a booster seat EVERY time children get in a car. We are safe if we are buckled in our booster seats. We also learned to NEVER talk to strangers or someone we don't know, even if they tell us they know our parents.

We were able to get in the police car, talk over the walkie, and hear the sirens. We know that police officers help our community.

  1. Glad the kiddos got to get this opportunity to talk with a real police office, and even sit in his patrol car! I hear he talked about strangers, and 911, etc. The pictures seem to show his siren was loud?? :-)
