We had a great time at the Museum of Discovery.

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow (not really)

Since January is considered a winter month and typically it is cold in the winter and at times it snows, we decided to create some snow since we don't think the weather will give us any.

Worms and Dirt

In our last unit we studied animals. During the last week of the unit we studied creepy crawly animals. As a treat on Friday the 13th we decided to eat worms and dirt (i.e. Gummi worms, pudding, and Oreo cookies smashed). Most of us loved it! Would we really eat worms and dirt? Of course not!!! But the alternative was soooooooooooooo good! Ask your child what they know about creepy crawly worms!

Cloudy Day

Today Dr. Cloud and Sweet Tooth came to Roberts to talk to us about how to have healthy teeth. We learned to brush at least twice a day in a circular motion. We talked about what foods are healthy to eat and what foods we need to eat sometimes. We know how to take care of our teeth thanks to Dr. Cloud.

Patterns

We learned and discussed patterns earlier this year, we like to review every once in a while to keep our minds sharp. We decided to make an AB pattern with ourselves. We lined up boy girl boy girl boy girl until every student in class was in line.

Dance Party Friday!!!

I watch KATV every morning Monday through Friday. I LOVE the morning crew, Melinda, Chris, and Courtney. I also LOVE dance party Friday. Each Friday the crew dances to a song to get our weekend started off right. Here is my class doing our own dance party Friday!
