Thank You

Words cannot express the gratitude that Ms. Dortch and I feel. We love and appreciate all the gifts/gift cards we received as gifts. We know that we could not do our jobs without parents who are supportive and understanding. We hope you all enjoy the next two weeks by spending time with those you love.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Apples and Honey

On Thursday we discussed Hanukkah. One of the customs is to eat apples and honey so we tried it. Most of us gave it a thumbs up!

St. Nicholas Day

Today in Holland is St. Nicholas Day. Sinterklaus and Zwarte Piet arrive in Holland in a boat then ride a white horse through town to deliver gifts to the girls and boys. If the boys and girls leave hay and carrots for the horse they will receive candy in their shoe. We have been good, so we expect to get candy!
